1. Rodney Stuckey - No need to comment on this one, if for some odd reason he’s still around in your league, go and get now. He’s a baller and he’s starting.
2. Andray Blatche - Although he tires easily and needs some improvements, he should be picked up based upon potential alone and the fact that he earned a starting post with the new coach.

3. Eric Gordon - He’s still around in many leagues, and I say grab him. He’s just about to start taking off and I would watch out if he does. He has both offensive and defensive skills and will grow under Baron. He’s getting over 40 minutes a game right now, so he’s learning quickly. Here are some recent stats on the road mostly:

After being down 16, they come back and beat the 2nd best team in the west by 30. They are good, I mean really good. This is going to be an important road trip for them. If they can kill all opponents, then we’ll really know that these guys are the real deal. They just look to have too much balance, athletic ability and defense to compete against at this point. Here’s the post game. Being calm and having confidence wins championships.

Pick him up now. He’s starting and will be doing big things this season. Good 5 category guy (3’s, points, steals, rebounds and possibly blocks). He’s too athletic to keep on the bench. He should get around 33-36 minutes a game eventually. Quentin will be riding pine soon, and D’Antoni needs to play him.

Expect him to start next season. How can’t he after performances like the one below? The local sports news team goes on a 2 minute tirade on how much they love Rudy. The future looks very bright for this kid. Let’s see him in some real games, then we can claim him ‘Future Star’.
He’s not making much, and if you’re a Blazer fan, looking at their salaries will make you sick. Steve Francis, Raef LaFrantz and Darius Miles are earning over $30 million this season…..and none will be play even one second on the court. To have even a semi-competitive team is astounding. I see bright things in 2 years when these young guys grow and Portland sheds these awful contracts.

Well, the Detroit fans have at least one more year to cheer on their veteran core of Tayshaun, Rasheed, Rip and Chauncey. The dynamic group will be in Detroit for the 08-09 season according to GM Joe Dumars. I would expect this is the last year that all 4 will play together. If I were a Pistons fans, I would have hoped for 1 move that would have added some athletisicm to the line-up. They weren’t good enough last season to make it to the Finals, so how do they expect to compete with Boston and Cleveland this season? Will all 4 of these guys stay healthy all season? Only time will tell, but I will tell you that I would not be Shocked if Rasheed and his childish antics were moved onto another team in the West sometime this season. I also wouldn’t be shocked if Hamilton was moved to make room for Stuckey and get some more defense and jumping/stealing/raw talent in the mix.
