People drink. NBA players drink. NBA players like to drink and drive….shocker. I like J-Rich too, I really do. He’s one of my favorite players, but dude, just call a limo. You’re a millionaire. I’ll never understand anyone who drinks and drives. The risk/reward ratio is all screwed up. You’re risking thousands of dollars, your life and every other life on the road so you can get somewhere? Just. Call. A. Taxi. Or if you’re an NBA player, call a limo or a driver…or something. It doesn’t matter to them though, because the fees and fines equal nothing. Oh well, I guess you can’t win em all.

PHOENIX (AP)—Suns guard Jason Richardson is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol in an American Indian tribal community in metropolitan Phoenix.
A citation filed in court says the ex-Michigan State star was stopped by a Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community police officer in the early morning of Dec. 21.
MIAMI (AP) — Former NBA player Antoine Walker was charged with suspicion of drunk driving in Miami Beach early Monday morning, further hurting his chances of playing again this season.
Walker was driving a black Mercedes without the lights on when he was pulled over at 5:39 a.m., according to the arrest report. Officers detected a strong odor of alcohol and wrote in the report that Walker had a sleepy look on his face. He refused a breathalyzer test.
Hey Vinny, news flash: You’re the headcoach of an NBA team. You shouldn’t be yelling at a player. Although relatively amusing for us fans, this is a pathetic showing of a new coach. This is not how you lead by example for your young team. Not even the players are yelling into the ear of opposing players while they shoot, let alone the coaches. You remember the golden rule, right? Even better is that Q made the shot.

Former NBA basketball player Corie Blount has been charged with picking up 11 pounds of marijuana in southwest Ohio.
Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones said after the 39-year-old Blount retrieved the package from a Liberty Township address on Thursday, deputies followed him to his home nearby and arrested him. Jones said officers found another 11 pounds of marijuana inside Blount’s house. Click Here For Full Article
Corie, what the hell are you doing? Man, how insane are you? Who picks up 11 pounds weed from the postal service? Aren’t you just asking to be caught? I mean the guy already had 11 pounds of weed in his house. That’ s a lot of weed. 1 pound is a lot of weed, but 11? But, once we do some math here, we realize he actually was in possession of 22 pounds of weed. Once you hit double digit pounds, you have some problems. But, when you’re in the 20 pound range, well, you might as well call it a day. He’ll be okay in Federal prison though. He’s 6′9, 240. He’ll hold is own, but he just lost 22 pounds of weed. Yeah, no one in the NBA smokes weed. No one. David Stern’s blood pressure just went up 5 points.
*Update: Apparently it was actually a total of 29 pounds. My bad. Big difference I know.
Baron Davis…man, stop. You need to start playing ball and getting your team some wins instead of posting lame videos on You Tube. You’re too Hollywood now. You’ve gone down the wrong path in the NBA. Instead of focusing on fundamentals and winning, you’re focused on being an attention whore and getting money. I must admit, I still enjoy watching you play because you’re so talented, but that’s where it ends. You don’t really care about winning. You signed with the worst franchise in NBA history so you could be closer to the limelight. Closer to Hollywood. We’re disappointed in you Baron. All NBA fans are disappointed. You’re about yourself, not winning. Not the team. You’re making the Warriors look like geniuses right now. Mullin realized you were too Hollywood and not working hard.
It’s only fitting that the number on your jersey is #1. You’re out for yourself and care more about being seen more than playing the game. You’ll never get a ring, you’ll miss the playoffs for the next 5 years, because you lost the drive. Stop being so Hollywood and get back to basketball. You’re good at basketball, not making movies bro. Get it right. This video is a fail. A big time/eye opening fail.
