Had to post this. It’s too funny. Can’t stop watching, how does he inhale the cheereleader? That’s my question. Clutch is definitely a top 5 mascot.
Here are my waiver wire pick-ups of the week:
1. Jason Thompson (Kings) - He dropped 18 and 10 in 22 minutes in his first career game. If he gets 30 minutes a game, you can image the damage he will do. He’ll probably shoot in the 55% range as well. He’ll be starting in no time flat. If I had room on my squad, he would be there already.
2. Wilson Chandler (Knicks) - What’s the over/under on when D’antoni realizes Q - Rich is garbage and needs to not start? I’m saying 10 games. Wilson played 23 minutes in his first game, dropping 17 pts and 9 boards. He is a far superior talent and athlete to slow/lead footed Quentin Richardson. He could also see time at PF, with his defensive skills. Pick him up immediately just based on potential.
3. Marc Gasol (Grizzlies) - Marc Gasol had a double double against Yao last night in his first NBA game. There is no one in Memphis to compete for minutes and he should be getting double doubles all season while shooting a nice percentage and getting blocks. He is a steal, and should be owned in all leagues.
4. Yi Jianlian (Nets) - The Nets are bad. I mean really bad. Yi will start all season and be groomed by Frank. He should score around 16 a game, while hitting 3’s, getting a few blocks and a lot of boards at PF. He is all the Nets have, as a bigger scoring player. He will be relied on heavily for scoring amongst other things. Pick him up….now.
Perfect 80’s flick about high school basketball and a kid turning into a werewolf. Hilarity ensues. If you enjoy watching campy 80’s crap, this is the #1 choice ever. Michael J. Fox at his prime, making things happen.
I am in shock. Seeing POW bearded Pop hacking shaq as a practical joke in the first 5 seconds of the game makes my night. Too funny. It’s all love in the first quarter of the first game of the season. Of course I’m sure when the Spurs ended up losing the game Gregg was cursing a storm and stomping around like a psychopath.
Barkley is really getting into politics? Not quite sure how I feel about this. I do agree with his racism comments though.
